It is just a 4-minute walk to the fine sandy beach of Praia Verde, which is more than 10 km long. If you are a beach lover and want to start the day with a long walk along the beach, you have found the right place. Due to its proximity to the beach, Casa Praia Verde is ideal for a relaxing beach holiday.
Close to the house you will find shopping opportunities in the small shopping center with a newspaper store and a small grocery store where you can buy bread and essential goods for every day (open in the summer season), as well as 2 restaurants and cafes.
The village of Altura is approximately 1 km away. Here you will also find good restaurants, a small municipal market, supermarket, cafes, restaurants and other shops.
If you are interested in Monte Gordo's nightlife with casino, bars & restaurants the town in just a short 5 minute drive (3km). The border town of Vila Real de Santo António is also nearby, just 4 km away. From here, you can easily take a short trip to Spain - Ayamonte and get to know two countries in just one vacation!
